Personal/Group Training

I offer both personal training and small group training (2–3 athletes at a time) out of my garage gym in Grand Forks, ND. This setup allows for a focused, hands-on training environment where athletes get the benefits of individualized attention while also enjoying the energy and accountability that comes from training alongside others.

 

What sets my service apart is the unique combination of experience and expertise I bring:

 

Athletic background: Former Division I football player at the University of North Dakota and a professional football career in the NFL and CFL.

Coaching experience: Worked as a Division I strength and conditioning coach, training high-level athletes across multiple sports.

Academic expertise: Currently a Kinesiology instructor at UND, teaching and applying the science behind performance training.

 

In addition to coaching experience, I utilize performance and health technologies not available anywhere else in the region, including:

Velocity-Based Training (VBT): Tracking bar speed to optimize strength and power development.

Performance measurement tools: Peak power, peak velocity, and dynamic range of motion testing.

Body composition analysis: Objective tracking of lean mass and fat mass.

Explosive metrics: Vertical jump height and sprinting miles per hour testing.

 

This combination of high-level athletic background, advanced coaching knowledge, and cutting-edge technology ensures training that is scientifically sound, data-driven, and athlete-focused.
